Banner Advertising

THE CPM BANNER ADVERTISING MODEL

See financial forecasting from banner advertising here.

The advertising acronym CPM stands for “cost per thousand impressions,” which is a measure of how much money it costs a sponsor to reach 1,000 readers, viewers, visitors or listeners.

The standard advertising banners we recommend CMA organisations integrating into their website are:

Leaderboard (728 x 90 pixels)

Medium Rectangle (300 x 250 pixels)

Here are what Australian organisations are charging CPM for the above advertising formats

Mamamia: $30 each for both formats

Fairfax: $28 for medium rectangle

Kidspot: $30 – $40 for medium rectangle; $36 – $40 for leaderboard

Mumbrella: $60 for leaderboard; $70 for medium rectangle

BANNER ADVERTISING MANAGEMENT

The advertising banners will be managed through Google DoubleClick for Publishers. Members only need to add the advertising inventory HTML code once to their site during the set up.  Members will need to approve any client booking agreement before advertising can appear on their website.
