Films like Groundhog Day and stories like Frankenstein explore the idea of eternal life. These tales make the idea of eternity out to be anything but appealing.
Yet, could eternity be something worth living for?
This, my friend, is where the Bible’s promise of eternal life turns things upside down.
It is not based on a Hollywood comedy or horror, but a description that does beyond human comprehension.
To engage with this consideration, it’s all there in the book of Revelation.
The fascinating difference of Christianity from other options is that
access comes from a place of sacrifice and selflessness found in the person of Jesus.
The eternity He speaks of is one filled with joy, happiness and purpose, not one reliant on the Groundhog in Punxsutawney County.
