In a relationship with Jesus we can have many life-changing experiences, but there are voices and opinions that say it’s not cool to talk about it. Whether something is said or merely implied, many Christians end up feeling afraid to tell people about Jesus and stop sharing altogether.
Have you been affected by something someone has said to you, an opinion you’ve heard, a post on your feed, or a news story on TV?
Following Jesus is the most normal and natural thing you can do. After all, you’ve been created by Him, designed to follow Him and become more like Him.
It’s time to take charge of those voices and not be crippled by fear!
Fight Fear
- Tell God you are sorry for taking on the voices and opinion of the critics.
- Ask for God’s boldness.
- Take action.
The way your body reacts to ‘fear’ and ‘excitement’ are very closely linked. So when you start to feel nervous or afraid, trick your mind by telling it that you are excited and then just make your move! There are people who need to hear about a God who loves them, and you can be that messenger.
